Rhythm

As the last few days of summer draw near, I’m finding my rhythms changing – our family’s rhythms changing. Getting in sync with the school gearing back up – my “new year.” Planning, prep, a stocked pantry and Yoga are my saviors. This week’s menu is one that takes into consideration those nights where soccer practice or ice cream socials are in play. When life gives you cucumbers

I’m on my way to vacation….actually a family trip, there’s a big difference. So I’m just going to share a few of my favorite dishes from this week’s beautiful local produce. These recipes were all created out of necessity. I had lots of cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, carrots, celery and chives form my garden…necessity creates some real yummy food if you let yourself get creative.    I used this recipe for refrigerator pickles. The article did a nice job summarizing what I hear from fellow CSA members, farmer’s market enthusiasts, and clients. Lovely Meals

I’ve been writing this blog long enough now that I can’t always remember what recipes I’ve shared. The lasagna recipe I’m sharing in this week’s menu is a staple in my repertoire. I often serve it at client events or feature it when helping clients with their dinner parties. It’s delicious and not just any ol’ lasagna.
